System Alert Notifications
Users on master and sub accounts must be administrators to setup and receive system alert notifications. System alert notifications are disabled by default.
User on a sub account: to receive system alert notifications they must be an administrator on the sub account. Logged in as the User, in My Profile under Notifications, Notify on Alerts must have System checked.
Under Account Settings, go to Notifications and Disable System Notifications must be un-checked.
The User will receive emails for Camera Online, Camera Offline, and Camera Internet Offline notifications.
User on a master account: to receive system alert notifications for a user on a master account, in My Profile under Notifications, Notify on Alerts must have System checked.
From the master re-seller account, click the gear icon on the sub account to go to sub account settings, in Access, Disable System Notifications must be un-checked.
The User will receive emails for Camera Online, Camera Offline, and Camera Internet Offline notifications on all sub accounts that have notifications enabled.
Note: The account notifications setting on a sub account can be enabled by administrator users on the master account, or administrator users on the sub account. The setting does not need to be enabled by both users.
Motion Alert Notifications
Users on a sub account can receive motion alerts. Motion alerts can be created in Camera Settings, in Motion. An email will be sent to the user with a preview image of the video captured, as well as a link to the full video of the event. Users on a master account cannot receive motion alerts.
User on a sub account: to receive a motion alert, a motion region must be created on a camera. Once a motion region is created, click on the Bell Icon under Actions. This will show the alert settings for the motion region.
Alert: allows you to select the hours when alerts will be sent out.
Re-arm: Allows you to set how often an additional alert will be sent after the first alert.
Max Per Hour: Allows you to select how many alerts can be sent per hour.
Alert Who: Allows you to select which users will receive the alert.
Alert Mode: Allows you to select which alert mode(s) the region will is set to. Alert modes can be created in Account Settings, in Alerts. You can have one alert mode active on the account.
Alert Level: Allows you to set the alert level to High or Low. These two levels function independently from each other. Users can set their alert level in My Profile, in Notifications by checking the High and Low boxes. Both can be used at once.
